i live in the land of burritos.

i haven't written in this blog for eons. possibly longer. my life has changed 1400% since the last time i wrote anything. i now live in a city that prides itself on serving the hottest and spiciest food known to mankind since the ethiopians, a place with big mountains and lawns made of rock. there are probably 17 blades of grass total in this city. i go to school but am contemplating taking the summer off and i work in a fun job with a lot of downtime. so we go outside and look at the mountains and 4 of the 17 blades of grass and have a smoke. i have enough money to buy some things i want but not a valentino short-sleeved double-breasted white cropped jacket. i dress up 4 out of 7 days. today i am wearing shiny shoes that didn't get much wear in LA.

and i ate a breakfast burrito.

what a random bedside table. antique phone which is plugged in yet never used (cell phone makes it relatively useless to me), ikea lamp of which you can only see its stem and base, my beloved drinking glass purchased from the 99 cent store at which courtney love filmed her video, mono, a notebook found in the children's section with pink pages and a diamond ring-wearing cat at the bottom, a drink coaster that which the drinking glass is not even on, a pencil stolen from work, and a guitar pick even though the guitars are nowhere near the bed.

3 days til stephen and i fly to NYC. can't wait. we've also been fighting and emo and ugh a fair bit starting at the weekend and i guess sort of ending yesterday. this trip is just what we need. i'm so looking forward to seeing all the parts of NY i never got to experience...soho, brooklyn, queens - we'll be going to stephen's old stomping ground and meeting his childhood friends and taking pics of the house he grew up in there in queens. hopefully the weather won't be too blah.

i love my 'i' history. there were some gems in there. apparently i once told someone that i work for the enemy.

i leave tomorrow to go see the boyfriend in albuquerque, new mexico. excitement x 39485. i haven't seen him for a month and a half.

i wanted to try to think of something amusing to write here but my mind is evidently on other (see above) things.

okay we';ll go with the following. the less i have to think to write, the better. best tv show ever.
